Conventional Writing Advice Doesn't Always Work

Writing advice is as varied as the people giving it. They’ll tell you what worked for them, but it’s maddening if their process doesn’t work for you. And when nothing seems to work for you, you can start to feel like there’s something wrong with you rather than the process. 

Fortunately, that’s not even close to being true. 

There’s plenty of conventional writing advice that hasn’t worked for me. I’m going to tell you all about it, so you can learn how to discern what advice works for you and when to throw out what doesn’t.
