Trying to change your habits means you’re looking at yourself as not enough in some way. It means you strive to be something you’re not. That you’re lacking a quality or identity you desire to have or embody.

Coming from that energy—no matter which methodology you use or how easy it seems—will make changing yourself impossible. Why? Because it’s a lie—and one that generally feels like shit.

Try this on instead: You’re enough exactly as you are. You’re worthy no matter what you accomplish. You’re deserving of life simply by existing.

Loving yourself first makes change not only possible but fun.

Because you’re not doing it to torture yourself or to become something not aligned with who you are, you’re doing it because you deserve better.

That’s how I started doing yoga, meditation, and healthy cooking every day.

I stopped trying to “become” a yogi or meditator or vegan and started loving myself enough to give a shit about moving and nourishing my mind and body. I deserve it. So do you.
